Summer Camp Ohana is a high-energy, heart-centered summer experience designed to meet children where they are—whether they thrive on big adventures or prefer a more grounded, stay-at-home experience. As we head joyfully into 2026, we’re excited to offer two flexible ways to enjoy Summer Camp Ohana, all supported by our growing staff and flourishing program.

Families may choose the option that best fits their child:

🎢 Field Trip Program
Perfect for adventurous campers who love exploring:
2–3 field trips per week
Rotating trips to Discovery Kingdom, Great America, and Hurricane Harbor
One additional weekly field trip
Discovery Kingdom season pass required (with Great America access)

🏡 Stay-at-Home Camp Program (No Field Trips)
Ideal for campers who thrive in a familiar environment:
A full Summer Camp Ohana experience on-site
Hands-on activities, themed days, games, and enrichment
Special “on-site field trip” experiences brought directly to camp

👉 Staff are always on-site, even on field trip days, ensuring every child receives a fun, engaging, and well-supported Summer Camp Ohana experience.

💦 Daily Swimming — For Every Camper!
One of the highlights of Summer Camp Ohana is SWIMMING EVERY SINGLE DAY ☀️🏊♀️
Whether your child is on-site or off-site, swimming is part of our daily rhythm
On field trip days, campers swim when they are on-site
On non-field trip days, all campers enjoy swimming
Swimming is thoughtfully supervised and woven into the daily camp schedule
Water play, confidence-building, and summer fun are at the heart of Summer Camp Ohana!

💛 A Thoughtful, Child-Centered Approach
At Wild Childz, children come first. While field trips are exciting, they can sometimes be overwhelming—even for older children. For this reason:
Camp staff may recommend a stay-at-home day if a child needs extra support
Long car rides are carefully considered, with safety as our top priority
Field trip schedules may shift (days of the week or rearranged weeks) to best support the flow of Summer Camp Ohana
Our goal is always a safe, joyful, and emotionally supportive experience for every child.

To help support field trips and enhance on-site programming, families will have the opportunity to participate in two seasonal fundraisers with Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory:

Funds raised help:
Cover field trip reservations
Bring special experiences directly into the home for stay-at-home Summer Camp Ohana days
These fundraisers allow families to participate collectively so individual field trip costs are not paid out of pocket.

⭐ Registration & Enrollment
A registration fee is required to reserve a spot for Summer Camp Ohana.
Enrollment is based on availability.
Families are encouraged to notify us as early as possible whether their child will attend Summer Camp Ohana and whether they are choosing the Field Trip Program or Stay-at-Home Camp Program. This helps us plan appropriately and manage our waitlist with care.
